If you, like most Australians, are concerned about climate change, and would like to connect with others in your community, come along to Nillumbik Climate Action Team’s inaugural Climate Café on Thursday 30 March, 7:30pm at Platform 3095 Café, 965 Main Road, Eltham (next to Eltham Train Station).
Our mission is to create the social climate for effective action on climate change.
Local resident Lisa Whiston will speak briefly about her work with Climate for Change on climate conversations as a way of building social change, followed by informal discussion.
This event follows on from Nillumbik Climate Action Team’s Climate and Environment Networking event held in October and reported on in the last edition of Copperline. It is the first in a planned series of Climate Cafe and related events for 2023.
